I’ve been seeing people do the secondary air delete and plugging the head ?
Who can bring more information on why the carb system even has secondary air?
It's part of pollution control.
I have been digging all over the internet about this and can't find much. But I did pull my carb to fix a leak and removed the secondary air system (blocking off the holes near the intake as well as blocking off the air leaks into the carb air area - 2 screws and a steel plate). At any rate, I've only had it out for a couple of miles but honestly it seems to be running great without that system and it made putting the carb back in so much easier.
