Hey Guy's,

Im new to the site and just purchased an 87 Aspencade two weeks ago. I noticed that the lower bike faring has a section for cornering lights/driving lights. I figured this would come standard w/Aspencade but I guess not. I removed the plastic covers which appears to accept some type of light but I'm not sure of what kind ? I've looked at various lights at Walmart and Auto part stores but haven't had any luck, any suggestions

Thanks

Mike

Mike- welcome and post some pics so we can see what you are talking about- I have an SEI and the lower fairing cowls on mine have lights for turning

Hello Mike, and welcome. The '87 used the SEI style fairing lowers. It was just a body plastic "refresh" or style change. As far as I know, the Aspencade is not wired for the "cornering lights" like the LTD/SEI. From what I remember, there was an "accessory kit" for adding the lights to the lowers. The lights themselves were just held into the back of the lowers by two springs that crossed across the back of the light. There was no "mount" to speak of. Where you'd find a kit, I couldn't say, and I'm not sure if the SEI lights will fit or even how they are attached.
Tim.....what holds you're cornering lights into the lowers?
