I just recently purchased an 86 GL 1200A Goldwing Aspencade. I have a headset button on my radio but don't see where to plug in a pair. Also, I would like to get a CB so I can talk to my passengers and fellow bike riders. Any suggestions? Anyone know my options? Other than this, the bike is running great and I am having a blast!
Most likely yours is still the stock setup otherwise there would be wiring for the headset to plug into.

The intercom and and CB were separate options and no longer available unless purchased used of fleabay and unless you know what your doing and what your buying you could be in for a headache.

My suggestion would be to purchase an aftermarket unit such as http://www.sierra-mc.com/proddetail.asp ... MCB2003-DU

Probably a heck of a lot cheaper than buying used Honda stuff.

You can plug in an mp3 player or probably a GPS with mp3 player capability
Thanks, I will have to check that out. How tricky are the ones like you sent the link for to install? It is the first time I have worked on a bike, but I have done a lot of work running wires, installing stereos and speakers in cars....
Never installed one of those. It is a separate unit and does not integrate with the onboard radio. You would still get the radio on the speakers and the cb and intercom through the unit. Although after looking at the instructions it would seem you could port the radio through the headset. Personally I would use an MP3 player.
