GL1200 GOLDWINGS

Hi I got a 85 Aspencade a couple months ago. It's my first Goldwing. The problem is when the bike is cold and you first crank it the idle is fine about 800-900 rpms but after you ride it and the motor gets hot the idle is about 3000-3400 rpms. Where do i start to find the problem.

sounds like the system has some vacuum leaks somewhere,also sounds like the sync is extremely out of whack,track down leaks before a sync is done
