just finished changing the fan switch[ thermo ]I found a switch with the proper parameters,
the switch is a wells SW 1888 , I got the switch new, to get the matching pig tail I had to go to the bone yard, it's from A 91 -94 geo metro, the 3 cyl.
both parts less than 20$ I soldered all connections
a back up switch was added in case the thermo switch fails.
an oil change and i'll be ready to ride.

any questions feel free to drop me a line,

Dan.
pretty much sounds like the switch i used and also had to obtain the matching connector from a geo metro, switch in another brand (beck-arnley) is # 201-1614

did find the switch turns on slightly quicker but seems to work fine otherwise,of course in my instance the switch was bad when i bought the mc so really dont know exactly when the turn on point was before

and of course installing a bypass switch is also mandatory, since regardless of whether the fanswitch is working there is no backup when it decides it no longer wants to work, and it will and it wont be on a cold and rainy day
