where to buy - tongy66086 - 07-30-2014

My 7 year old grandson and I took a trip on my 84 Aspencade this past Monday.
I had bought a handlebar mount cell phone holder so I could make use of the gps.
What I found is there wasn't enough adjustment to swivel the phone around so I could see the gps at a glance.
I was looking, and think that if there was something like a pouch, that wrapped around the fake tank lid, the gps would be easier to see.
I've done some searches, but found nothing like I'm wanting. Everything has either been handlebar mount, or suction cup on the windshield.
Does anyone know someplace that might have something like I'm hoping to find?
Or another secure mount for the phone that works good for them?
I'm really open to suggestions.
BTW.....the grandson had a blast.....but so did grandpa.

best one i have seen for the wing is from Ram Mounts, they have several styles, one that bolts to the handlebar itself and one that uses the clutch perch
i usually use www.mountguys.com

My bike came with a GPS mount attached to the lower blank panel where the CB would normally go.
It is circa 1984.........

it's a large clamp, painted black and it holds the directions you wrote on a piece of paper.

still works!
