new member - ultramidnight - 03-02-2012 new member from maine, bought a 1986 aspencade feb 13th it has 35000 miles on it. It runs great,with this forum I should be able to ride this bike for a long time! It was in dry storage for 7 years ,put new gas and a new battery and it started and runs great. We hope to be doing alot of riding this summer. My 84I is pushing 122,000 and is running very strong. Her top end talks a bit, but then again, so do I. :lol: In your spare time, read the different categories at this forum, carbs and tuning, charging system, engine, and transmission, final drive, as they will give you a âheads upâ about what makes these bike tick, and click, and rattle and, (heaven forbid) grind. :d Congrates on the purchase.
