Changing out the Stero.

I bought a cheap ($25) KMART 2gig mp3 player and a cassette adapter ($12). While my tape player still works I don't think it has to for this setup to work. If the tape player belt breaks or for some reason it can't wind the tape it doesn't matter.
I just wrap the cord around the vinyl cover to keep the mp3 secure. I disconnect the mp3 and put it in the trunk if I stop somewhere. I can forward\reverse songs while I'm riding although it's hard to see the display. It sounds great, no dissassembly required and I'm not out much if it gets lost, stolen or broken. |
