Goldwing Newbie from Ontario Canada

Hi All,

Just bought my 1986 GL1200 Aspencadelast Monday. My first ever GW ride was 6am Tuesday on a dark and rainy trip into work - it is a surprisingly easy bike to ride - even at low speeds, but I suspect a difficult one to ride competantly. And YES, I bought it without riding it - couldn't stand the thought of dropping somebody else's bike.

It is pretty cherry compared to every other 82-86 GW I had looked at. Several previous owners have lavished love and dollars tricking this bike out - I'm the lucky beneficiary .

It is garaged alongside my 85 VF750C-E Magna - I use the same name on V4musclebikes.com.

After being a Canadian peering into US websites, it is refreshing to find one with such an apparently strong Canadian connection.

I'll figure out how to make a signature and post a pic of my steed - bear with me.
