Auto volume/Tone switch

This is a question for tricky or anyone else who maybe able to help me. Re-installing factory cb into 85 ltd. The question I have is; on the ltd's travel computer there is an auto control and tone control nob. Is this to replace the two same nobs at the top/ in a separate unit from the cb unit? Making the two at the cb unit redundant? Thanks for all your help in advance.

Those knobs are for the am/fm Stero receiver.The auto control can be set to make the loudness thresh hold of the sound more or less which will automaticly go louder as the road noise increases at higher speed...the "amount" of the increase of loudness as the road noise increases. |
