What subject in the Tech Center has the most questions.
Idea I was just curious about what topic has the most questions.
I understand, some questions might be duplicated.
I also know some data may have been lost when the forum had to change formats,
but I don't want to get into it that deep.

It makes sense that electrical is at the top of the list, these bikes are an electrical accident just waiting to happen and since the average Joe has very little knowledge of 12 volt systems and has never tried to read a schematic it can become almost overwhelming. Most people will have a problem and hope to get an answer like "be sure the blue wire is connected". Wink

I've had my run ins with most of the things on that list, I've given that damn radio 4 cracks at it now and I still can't get the system to work. I only have so much patience for working in that hell hole of a pocket! Trying to trouble shoot in there is all but impossible and even with the original hook up instructions it's as clear as mud what hooks to what, after 20 plus years and no telling how many "fixes" who knows what's right and what isn't

Just in case folks here didn't know it already, the radio mount is really quite simple to remove after the dash visor, windshield, garnish and headlight are removed which in total are not big jobs, 15 minutes work, then you can remove and inspect the radio mount and clean all the gold terminals to ensure good electrical connection with the radio.
