HOW TO PLACE A PICTURE ON THIS SITE
You would need to go into your operating system setup to make the necessary changes.

I would need to know what operating system you have to be able to help you.

I use XP Home addition. I updated the active X and now on IE it works but when I'm using Firefox, it don't. How do I activate the active X on Firefox?

OK, I'm not sure what I did but it now works. Thanks for all the help Vic. You've helped me with my bike and now with my computer and you and I didn't even notice you did it. :wink:

I wonder how much other stuff I've missed and how much I still have to do to have this computer running right. :oops:

It would be virtually impossible to know everything about the internet and computers but knowing a little bit sure helps so don't feel bad if you don't know a lot because we are all learning as we go along.

Keep your computer clean by using Ad Aware and Spybot regularly, like once a week or at the minimum once per month.

Download here <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html">http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html</a><!-- m -->

and here: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10122137.html">http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10122137.html</a><!-- m -->

Those 2 programs help to keep your computer running faster.

Just download and install them then follow the instructions.

My brother inlaws computer was a bad one. I can't remember what it was but it was an old and slow one at the time with broad band. After playing with it for awhile I got so feed up I put ad-aware on it and ran it. It was the worst computer I've ever seen as it found 600 spy ware apps on it. That move helped, but it was still old and slow.

Glad you like my avatar, I'm sure what your computer was doing was only looking at the first image in the loop. Now you get to see all the fun stuff. Now I've got to go find an old avatar that I fell in love with so many years ago. At such time you will know what kind of geek I am.

Thanks Vic. I do have spy-bot. I guess my son put it on there so I guess I'll start running it weekly. I didn't know how much my son did with the computer but he was alway on it. I guess he was doing more than looking at porn.

One could also try a freebie called ccleaner:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.ccleaner.com/">http://www.ccleaner.com/</a><!-- m -->

But if you have cookies and certain files on your computer which you rely on to make your life easier make sure you set the program correctly.

I have been told of miraculous changes in dying computers after some have used this program.

My old standby.... Format C/: and start again.

I DL the ad-ware program and did a scan and it came up with lots of stuff. I got rid of everything it found, and my computer is still working so far, so I guess I'm OK.

I didn't understand anything that it found but its not there any more. I hope everything will keep working without all the stuff I got rid of. I hate doing things like that because I don't understand anything that those programs find and they warn you that you don't need to get rid of it all but sense I don't know any better I do.

Now I guess I just hope for the best. :?

It was most likely all garbage anyway, but, if you do find something amiss on your computer some of that garbage can be brought back again if needed.

John,

Something is wrong with your imagecave.

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://usera.imagecave.com/johndfullerton/100_1244.jpg">http://usera.imagecave.com/johndfullerton/100_1244.jpg</a><!-- m -->

Go to imagecave and try to log into your account to fix from that end.

Once that is fixed the pics will re-appear here.

You may have gone over your limit at Image Cave so you may need to delete some pics and create a scond account for more pics.
