Intercom Operation on the JM2003

How does the intercom operate on the JM2003 unit? Is it voice activated or always on or is there a PTT switch?

There site isn't very explainitory on that aspect of the JM2003 unit. :?

First of all there are two different JM units. One is for the driver only with no intercom and the other is for two up and has the intercom and CB PTT swtich for passenger.

The intercom has a seperate volume control (the CB volume knob pulled out) I is on all the time just as a factory Goldwing intercom is, but I am not sure, but I don't think there is a mute function to it so you hear both the AUX imput and the Intercom at the same time. We have it on my wife's bike, but since She won't let me ride behind her (haha) we have not really used the intercom. I had just turned it on when when I was on by myself.

So I can't say about wind noise on it from the passenger.
