Keeps on blowing a fuse
Can anyone tell me what all is shared with the brake/taillight fuse? The fuse panel says "Tail/Meter". I used to have a list but can't seem to find it. I noticed the tailight warning light was on. A check of the fuse discovered it was toast. Replaced it, then it burned out, again. Unplugged the tail/brake lights connector under the seat, the fuse burnt again.

It's an 84, no trailer, and nothing new. I got stuck in a bad rain storm last week, so I figure it's a gremlin left over from that ride. Just got to figure out what parts to look at. Lots of wires, lots of connections means lots of time must be spent looking and removing things to find it.

Number 4 fuse On the Aspencade is tail.
Black/Blue wire
I will give a list of things it connects to according to the schematic.

Turn signal canceling unit.

Goes to a red 9 pin plug on the fairing not sure which side. But they are under the rubber covers on the inner steering well, where it changes to Brown/White and goes to the IGN Switch
Clock.... Brown and White
Radio.... Brown and White
Meter.... Brown and White

Goes to 9 pin Black plug on the fairing as a Brown White then to the Horn/Dimmer/turn signal cluster

The wiring color changes are done inside the harness or at the plugs.

Cant see any others.
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.
