Tranny from 86 and 87
Hey Yal

Quick question that I can not verify on the HDL parts site.

Is the 86 SEI transmission the same as the 87 Interstate/ aspencade??
The #'s are not in the same order and I do not have time to cross reference the 50+ sprockets and spacers from both models

thanks in advance

Go to <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.goldwinginfo.com/gwi/oem_groups.php?language=EN&model=GL1200">http://www.goldwinginfo.com/gwi/oem_gro ... del=GL1200</a><!-- m -->
This should take you into the parts data base. There is a feature to compare part #'s for specific models.
Good Luck.
What part are you looking for?

Well the ticking is still there-- it is louder if I wind it out- but if I start out slow and get to 5th before 27 mph and let it slowly get up to normal speed then the clicking is not so prominent. I then can wind it out though the gears...just got to start out slow the very 1st time and then all is well...Well I bought the tranny gears for $38.00 so if I ever do split the case....I got some extras...
