Pocono Mountains Pa. waving a hand........
Hello gang ...greetings from the Poconos! its great to see 300+ members who still enjoy talking about and sharing their experiences with the GL1200...I own a 1985 A.It has low miles 60,000 aprox. In my eyes the gl1200 has all the right curves in all the right places.! I'm sure you folks know how dependable these bikes are.I would'nt be afraid or ashamed to take these bikes anywhere the pavement goes.

Welcome Coalcracker101,
Glad to hear from someone in the Poconos. Are you able to ride up there yet? I know you got some really bad weather this year, but I hope it`s gone now.
I too ride an 85 Aspy, and you are right; the 1200s are hard to beat.
Post some pics if you can.
Later,

If you treat your 1200 right, and trust her, she can and will save your butt from a lot of bad scenes. Just believe in her! Mine has several times.
