All is calm, all is bright.

My friends and family are safe and warm tonight. Nephew Scotty is on furlough from Iraq for the holiday, headed down to South Carolina to surprise is wife and his mother for Christmas. My family is here with me, and there is a grand-critter to make the morning special.

My GL is safely tucked into the garage for the bad weather season.

I have a lovely glass of eggnog, and all is right with the world tonight.
