Hello! new member from Oshawa Ontario
Hello after 21 long years without a 2 wheeled ride, the wife broke down and bought me a 1985, Ltd.
now I just have to Finnish all the chores on her list so i can ride it :roll: .

Glad you are riding with us now. I hope you find this an enjoyable place to rest a bit, and kick your shoes off a while. I know you will find an abundance of information and thought provoking ideas to ponder.

If you treat your 1200 right, and trust her, she can and will save your butt from a lot of bad scenes. Just believe in her! Mine has several times.

Wow I posted a few questions in different parts of the forum last night and responses to all of them right away.
So thanks to the people that gave me all that info .
Just have a few min so I hope you all get the thank you in this message.
I ordered a shop manual ,so I think I will wait to get that before I take it apart.but thanks to the good info I'm getting from you folks I know what end of the bike to start looking at.

I got a brother that lives on Townline Road just above Adelaide.A few years back I bought my 85 Aspy from a guy on Belair ave or cres just off of Adelaide about a stones throw from my brothers.Good luck with the new Wing.

Hi in Oshawa. You're approximately 52 kms. to the east of me. I live in Toronto.
They're great bikes these Goldwings aren't they?

I'm up their every weekend
We have a house up by sandy flats sugerbush.
I will put on a pot of coffee..only catch is were building a new garage next weekend so bring your work boots,

Sandy Flats in a nice area. I know the ride you are talking about but it is not mine, I am just before Harwood on the old Harwood rd. A coffee sounds great, lets do it soon, this weekend is out but the next week end I start two weeks vac. and I am sure we could meet some time around then. Check your PM
