There are some high quality sapstrapes on the market that work well as fuel line clamps but using gear clamps on over size fuel lines is just asking for trouble.

Just so you know, you aren't the only Ken on this site. olddude53 happens to be a Ken also. :d FYI, fuel injection hose clamps happen to very effective at forming an almost perfect circle on a hose even if the hose is oversize for the application. They are a little more pricey than regular gear clamps but they do a terrific job of sealing a hose connection.

Obviously this post is almost a year old, but I wanted to know of "olddude53" lived "happily ever after" with the 1/4" tube and fuel injection clamps as I'm about to switch out the fuel lines too, LOL!

One of the last things on the pre-Spring list... Had to replace the O-rings on the intakes, may as well do the lines while I'm in there.
