front suspension problems
on my 84 aspy. it seems that the front suspension dives too much tried adjusting suspension air psi & changed anti dive settings no change, what controlls the fluid flow inside the forks, changed fork oil used atf & measured the correct amount do I need heavier oil in the forks?

maybe new springs, they are 26 years old.
Progressives will work better
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.

changing to 15W fork oil or maybe 20W would help but that's only i guess, could be your springs are just worn out and/or the bushings are worn too

honestly would just buy a set of progressives and start fresh, simple and easy since you evidently already know how to get the caps on and off

If the original springs have not been replaced, they need to be. I had the same issues and finally installed progressives. I went with 20wt oil, no air, and a new front tire. A world of difference in ride, handling and confidenance in the bike since I had encountered the dreaded tank slapper situation two times at 20-30mph. Still havn't let go of the handle bars but it sure does seem alot better.
