Hi Vic, nice to see a site dedicated to the greatest of all Goldwings. I have been a member at the Steve Saunders site for quite a while and just saw your post for this site. I will now have to spend a lot more time on the computer. We met at the SIG gathering in London this summer and I see you have Twisty doing some moderating. I hope he doesn't type with that funny accent. Confusedhock: All my best to you with this new site.

I think you mean Tricky not Twisty. Tricky is the guy with that lovely Liverpool accent and the warm jacket.

It was great meeting you at the London meet Bob, water and all.

It is kind of nice to have a site where we can praise the GL1200 and not get bashed, but, watch out other GL models are welcome here also so must practice diplomacy if we claim that our bikes are better than theirs :-)

You're right, I did mean Tricky. I don't mean to say that the 1200 is better that any other Goldwing, even though it is the best looking. I am sure in the future I will own a newer Wing. I was at Claire's picking up some parts last week and the wife and I were both drooling over the 2007 GL1800. I'm just not ready to pay $28,000 for a bike yet. I'm sure Tricky remembers me as we had the 2 nicest colour bikes  , however, he was a lot warmer than me.

I found it amazing that such a cool guy could be so warm until he shared his secret.

Maybe he'll do a nice heated riding suit layout at this site to help out all the GL1200 owners.
