I haven't tried it, but the page talks a lot about its ability to prevent corrosion. That may mean it contains silicates, it doesn't specify either way.

I am sure it works in extreme conditions, such as racing, etc... Water wetter, Engine Ice, all have their purposes, but there is no need for these products for the average street engine / rider. A properly maintained and functioning cooling system works just fine. I think folks use this stuff just for "peace of mind" and / or to mask an under-laying problem.
