new member, new owner
Hello everyone. I am new here, and to Goldwings, but not to motorcycles. I'm 52, and have been riding since age 8. I just bought an '85 LTD with 93,000 miles on it. It is a 2 owner AZ bike, a little sun faded but rust free. It was recently gone over by a local shop that specializes in Goldwings, the person I bought it from gave me recent receipts for over $1000 worth of work, mostly maintenance. So far so good, but I am sure I will have lots of questions. Jerry.

Welcome from Ohio Jerry. You'll love the bike I'm sure. I don't recall ever hearing anybody ever say they didn't love the 1200!

Wow. Thanks for all the replies. I wasn't expecting so many on the first day. To the member in Arkansas, I grew up there, in a town called Star City, in the southern part of the state. Jerry.
