Welcome Ed. Greetings from So.Cal.
Great choice in a first bike, you'll love it.
Find a large parking lot and practice low speed maneuverability, they are heavy but are extremely maneuverable.
Accelerate hard and brake. Brake hard while downshifting.Try different methods. See what she'll do in a safe area.
Ride safe and enjoy the ride

Thanks all.

I took a motorcycle class, aprox 26 hours of controlled riding in and out of cones.
I am strong and do not have any prob holding the bike.
It is a true fit like a good shoe, custom built just for me.
P.S. I brought my fender and battery cover to the body shop to touch up the clear coat.
The guy had his lackey prep them and he sanded off the stripes.
I searched everywhere they do not exist.
Thanks all,
Ed.

Welcome from Arizona - where we ride all year long (mostly).

Great first bike. If you are comfortable on a Goldwing, you can ride anything.
