Temp readings for those of us not fortunate to have digital
I have tried the search function numerous times to find the information I am looking for to no avail.
Can some of the Interstate crowd with analog gauges post up their temp readings. My bike happens to like to run about 3/4 up on the gauge and I am wondering if this is a common area for these when I use my Infra Red thermometer on the heads I get a reading of around 170 on the crank case around 185 to 195 and on the Rad i get 175 to 185 I think everything is good with those numbers but the gauge reading so high concerns me. please help.
1986 GL1200 Interstate Wineberry Red 96.5k miles and still counting. Update Solo now has 100,312 miles and going strong. I shall call her Solo. There is a story behind the name ask me and I'll tell ya.
