Been lurking here on and off for years and finally made the leap to membership.
I'm a bit of a 1200 fan as I have collected 4 of them over the past 4 years. 2 are
Aspencades and 2 are Interstates. None are road worthy but between them are
the makings of 2 good bikes and some spares.

I owned and rode a 1200 in the early 90's and then went to an HD for a while, came
back to a 1500 about 6 years ago, still got it, and now ride an 1800. As time allows,
I'm intending to rebuild 2 of the 84's and will need some advise when I get there.

Welcome to the forum from Georgia, just north of Atlanta.

Four wings to make two...let me know if you have parts left over, I may be interested in some spares for my '84 Interstate.
Remember, No matter where you go...There you are!

Here is where I have ridden my 1984 GL1200I
I completed the lower 48 states in August 2009, riding the whole way with my Dad
