Ghostrider, I think if you'll pull the pump and then remove the head, you'll find the reed valves are plugged with the remnant's of the foam air filter that's located in the intake line. That's what happened to mine... |

Watching the voltmeter by the radio, does it drop to about 10 volt's or so when you hit the starter? If so, the starter might be locked up if it's not turning the engine over... Just no juice past the starter solenoid to the starter. Have you taken the starter side cable off the selinoid and verifie... |

Welcome to the Site!! My daughters aren't too crazy about it, it lacks the coolness of the ZRX I had. When my wife saw me sitting on it in the garage she said I am now officially an old fart. Wifes and kid's just don't understand what a "Sleeper" is. First put some CCR on the stereo. Then ... |

I've not heard of the keyway issue either. I think that it's because I think the pulley is a "flange" type mount rather than the pulley sliding onto to crankshaft. In other words the pulley fits onto the crankshaft bolt and is tightened/centered that way rather than needing a key... |

I've never done it but from my reading, pull the air filter and with the engine runing at about 2500 rpm pour about 1/2 can of seafoam slowly into the intake and then pour the reast into the tank and go from there! Me personaly,,,, I just run premium gas cuz mine pings and knock's with 87 octane als... |

You might want to edit your E-bay listing to say the covers are for the carburated model. The ones for the fuelies are cut a bit different. Looks like you did a VERY nice job with them!!! |

I believe that Ken is correct. There is no flat profile, (car), tire for the GL1200 that I've heard of... That's not what i said. I just said that Angela to the best of my knowledge uses motorcycle tyres other than for the outriggers. There maybe a wheel /car tyre combination that will work but I'l... |

Welcome to the Site!!! Look at the radio face. The three left buttons are labeled: VOLUME, MUTE LEVEL, and INT COM. Below the INT COM label there's a sub label that says: PUSH SP/HS. Push that button in and see what happens! |

1/2-3/4 sounds about normal for around the town driving. As long as the fan is cycling, you're most likely ok. One thing you might want to do is change all the fluids if you don't know how long ago that happened. Anti-freeze, clutch, brake, etc.... Also the timing belts!! |

I've not really given that much thought to changing the radio yet because, While I'd enjoy a modern radio with CD and aux. MP3 input, I'm not yet willing to give up the intercom system that the Type III radio controlls... However..... I do know this guy named Don who owns an '85 Limited Edition and ... |
