I was having a "cool one" while cruising the Site after work one night and I decided to take a look at the calender poll thread that was at the bottom of the portal. While reading the thread and all the idea's for the pic's, advertisers and such, I remembered that a guy that I work with own's a print shop with his wife here in Marion! Thinking about it further I thought, why not keep it simple and ask the Top 11 Contributers to the Site to donate a pic for the calender?!!

So I contacted Vic to tell him what I had in mind and see if he'd give me permission to proceed. (Hey,,, it IS his Site after all!!! ) He gave me the green light and below is a link to show you a slideshow of what I've put together:

OK,,, Here's the deal: I'm getting these calender's on my own nickel so you will NOT be sending me any money as I'm not asking for any. I'm doing this for YOU as a member of this Site, and for Vic to help with Site maintenance. What I AM asking for is a $10.00 donation, per calender, sent via Paypal to Vic, or, if that's a problem, contact him about the method of payment you prefer. I'm sure he'll work with you! Also, each $10.00 donation for a calender qualifies you for a drawing for one of Poorboy's alternator conversion kit's that he has been kind enough to contribute. Keep in mind that Don normally sells these kit's for $215.00 plus $15.00 for shipping/handling!! If you already have the conversion done or want to stay stock and you win the kit, you can put it up for sale on the Site or donate it to a needy member! (Shameless plug for Walter!! )

E-mail is gonna be alot easier to keep track of your request's as I've GOT to keep track of how many and when these calenders are ordered so I can get them out to you as they are ordered.

We'll have the drawing for Poorboy's kit sometime near the end of December depending on interest and when I run out of calenders. This is the first time I've done anything like this so be patient with me!!

That's about it except that there is gonna be a limited amount available, (The first printing will be 50 calenders), cuz my wife's got me on a budget for this so get them while they're Hot!!

That post was long enough so I'm posting some more info here!

I went to the printer on Friday, 10/31/09, with all the info. I should get a proof early next week so it should be about 1 to 2 week's before I have the calenders in hand to start mailing them out!

As I said,, be patient with me as I've not done this kinda thing before but I'm gonna do my best to get a calender to everyone who wants one!!
