This is my 1987 Aspencade, although she wasnt registered till '89
Just getting her ready for the summer (if we ever get one here in the UK :shock: )

Looks like they should hear you coming with those air horns.

Did you paint the lower scoop, it doesnt look chrome?

Nice bike anyway.

Patience the warm weather will arrive.

Heck daffodils and blossoms are showing in Vancouver .... and they're hosting the winter Olympics..

The scoop was that colour when I bought the bike. I intend to take it off and colour match it to the bike.
Yes, the horns are loud...sounds like a big rig \:d/

Problem with painting is that stones get thrown onto the scoop and it will chip.
Maybe powder coating will stand up better, even chrome scoops get to look sad after a while, I had mine re-chromed a year or so ago and it is starting to lose it's shine already.
OK for a show bike but definitely not for a well ridden model.

Yes, powdercoating would prob be a better option. Got some bits on the Triumph that I want coating so I can get them all done at the same time.
