  This is my 1987 Aspencade, although she wasnt registered till '89 Just getting her ready for the summer (if we ever get one here in the UK  )

The scoop was that colour when I bought the bike. I intend to take it off and colour match it to the bike. Yes, the horns are loud...sounds like a big rig

Maybe powder coating will stand up better, even chrome scoops get to look sad after a while, I had mine re-chromed a year or so ago and it is starting to lose it's shine already. OK for a show bike but definitely not for a well ridden model.

Yes, powdercoating would prob be a better option. Got some bits on the Triumph that I want coating so I can get them all done at the same time. BLUEWING.......wonder why you like the colour?
