altimeter, voltmeter, thermometer - Cornhusker Joe - 03-19-2020 My 1984 Aspencade has a combination gauge cluster in place of the right fairing pocket. I haven't seen anything about them. The altimeter is so-so, but works, the voltmeter is great, except that it reads 1.2 volts lover than the battery - I suppose because they tapped the accessory terminals for the power. I like the thermometer, but don't really know the accuracy. The altimeter has a backlight that is burned out, and I can't get the bulb out. How many have one or have even seen this unit? I haven't seen any but my own. With all the charging system problems, I would have thought this would be a popular option. The altimeter says "Honda" on the face. Otherwise I would think obscure aftermarket gizmo. Anyway, what do you know about them? Thank you. Cornhusker Joe |
