Bleeding GL1100 rear brakes - Clint Styron - 02-04-2007

I had my rear caliper rebuilt and need to know how to bleed the air out. Should I pump up the brakes and hold then open the bleeder?

That should be about all you need, but it's kinda a 1 and 1/2 man job. I've used speed bleeders and I have a vacume bleeder, and I like the speedbleeders more. Ither option makes for simple on man bleeding.

BTW, make sure you use a rubber hose on the bleeder, it will help keep air from getting back in the system. Also lets you see how the bleeding is going.
