Tire leak
I'm getting ready to put on new Dunlop E3s. The last set would leak off air pressure after a couple days. Suspect leak through the rims. Any one have this problem befor and how do I fix it right?

Check for leaks around the valve stems, pour or spray some water on the stem where it mounts to the rim. I had 90* valve stem put on years ago and they finally started to leak. Have them replace the valve stems too.

I do replace the stems with every change. Have sprayed the stems and beads with soapy water and can locate no bubbles.

i have always had slow leaks on any tire i've used on my mc's,one to 2 lbs per week is not unusual,so i always recheck mine whenever i ride, even change of riding days, hot to warm will cause a change of pressures

Initially servicing a bike which sat for two years, it too had leaks around the beads.
Since I change my own tires, I took the time to clean off the residual rubber left on the bead area of the rims from all the previous tires.
A thorough cleaning and the initial replacement tires (and subsequent tires) haven't lost any more air than tires normally lose air.
