aspencade stereo AGAIN lol
Ok, after the posts about keeping the standard stereo on my aspencade, i have decided to do just that, ive now got my mp3 working fine with it, so im happy.

the only issue now is, i seem to get a lot of engine noise and a buzzing, seems to be more when the stereo is on low for some reason. is there a fix for this

Does the noise disappear when you apply the brake?

Does the engine noise happen just when you use the MP3 player? Or does it happen with the radio also? If it happens only with the MP3 the culprit is probably the unshielded wire on your cassette adapter picking up engine noise. I've not noticed any noise with the FM modulator I use so that might be the problem.

Hope this helps!

It happens when using all aspects of the stereo, and especially if using ff or rw on the tape deck mate

fitted new speakers today, in a bid to try and solve the noise problem, and found both speakers were running from one set of cables from the amp.

so i went into detail to try and find the fault, and one of the two speaker pairs has no output from it, so i think the amp maybe bust or possibly the stereo ? as there is no balance adjustment on the stereo its hard to find out?
anyone had this before? id hate to buy an amp and find its not that
