Annoying Sound in Speakers/Head Set
When I have my headset speakers connected and I'm either riding alone or 2-up, I have to constantly listen to the wind. Is there some way of having a VOX connected to eliminate this? Hopefully!!!

turn the oval knob by the volume control on the radio to the left a little see if it improves
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.

You didn't state what kind of helmet/headset setup you have so I am assuming you have an open face helmet (3/4 helmet). On my Tour Com helmets I had better luck with the larger windsock placed over the mic.
I tried the smaller one but it didn't work as well. I have the J&M 277 mic system I use without the headset speakers and I use the Shure E3c earphones which give me earplugs and very good earphones in one package.
Try experimenting with different windsocks. They are cheap.
Best Wishes, DW

That was a good tip, DW. I've been having the same problem as SubVet. I'm off to Radio Shack now just so as I can be ready for Spring!
