Loading your wing on a trailer
I have a 5'X10' Tilt trailer and was wondering if it is hard to load our Goldwings on a tilt? Putting on and taking off. Center stand or kick stand? Thanks.

I, too, have a tilt trailer but can only warn you against using that feature, i.e., the tilt bed. It's just too risky. Your best bet is a ramp sturdy enough to allow you to ride or push the bike onto the trailer. As for using the side/center stands, it's not necessary once the bike is properly tied down. I use one 2" ratcheting strap over the seat hooking to eye bolts on either side of the bike so it's a straight down pull. I then use two smaller straps pulling forward from the front case guards and two more pulling slightly forward from the rear bag guards.

When I bought the 11. we used the tilt feature of my trailer. big mistake. It took 3 of us. I also recomend making/getting some ramps.

I have a utility trailer that I built for my snowmobiles and it was just to high to load my wing, so i'm selling it and building myself a trailer with 4 inch drop axles and air bags to actually lower the deck of the trailer onto the ground for easy loading and unloading without the fear of tipping over.
I'll let you know how it turns out.

Have you thought about using these axles for your trailer, it's one I am attempting to design, not an exact model but similar to a Baxley.

I made a 1/4 scale model to see if my dimensions might be correct there is a video of it here, a bit dark but you can see how the bed lowers in the center to allow driving onto the trailer.
