SEI or LTD Clock question, Is mine working right?
I just purchased an 86 SEI and I have the owner's manual. It states in there that the clock will flash when you are setting the time. Mine always flashes the time zone. I can set the clock ok and it keeps time, but the time zone on the map never stops flashing key on or off I can also scroll through the time zones ok.

If this is not normal is there any special thing I must do after I have set the time?

Thanks guys. It really does seem odd and annoying to me. I would think they would just blank out the zone you are set on. I don't know much about the old LCD's but I would think it wear it out.

But I am glad to know it is no broken.

If the flashing drives you crazy (as it does me) wait until people start checking out your bike. EVERYONE points it out to you. "do you know that's flashing?" or "why is that flashing?" or "something is wrong with your clock" UGH!!!!! I want to print a little sticker that says,, If you see this flashing RUN AWAY NOW!!!!!

That is a good one-- we could also tell people that it's our SEI motorcycle alarm- the flasing means it is activated for that time zone Confusedhock:
