front speaker covers
gidday Folks,

This is just one of the very little things, that is no big deal, just a tad annoying cause
you think its not quite right. (Photos attached)

when in installing the covers, over the front speakers, the top clip, wont click in properly, due to the dash visor bracket, not being flush with the speaker holders.

would like to know if the visor bracket, is in the right place, or does it need to be shifted
backwards somehow, to allow the speaker cover to sit level.

much appreciated,

cheers,[attachment=0][attachment=0]

Robbie, you are not alone. I broke the top tabs off my cover trying to make it fit so be very careful trying to get it in place. Mine is being held in place with Gorilla glue  and I'm going to start looking for a replacement when I get back from my trip. If I figure out how to get it in place, I'll let you know.

I believe that originally there was a spacer or gasket on the speaker cover that filled the gap from the cover to the speaker housing. I have seen them on ebay every now and then. My bike has the same gap you are talking about. I think I may try to find some gasket material and make my own that will close this gap. My tabs are also broken. I used small strips of velcro to keep them in place.

There were some speaker spacers on eBay as of this evening.
