headlight grill issue
The chrome or paint matched grill that is under the headlight. How does it's bracket attach to the fairing? I see two holes in the fairing but nothing for the bolts to screw into.

there is a bracket with two small holes and two big ones, it mounts using the same bolts that fasten the headlight assembly.

There lies the issue... behind that bracket is just holes in the plastic, nothin threaded in the cowling??

Looks like there should be a moulding in the fairing with some threaded sections:

dang then you may have to install and glue a couple of nuts in there. because the fairing has metal insertions with threats

for now a zip tie held it in.... until I figure out a good way to texas engineer it...

But hey the bike was FREE, and with 20mpg out of my PT cruiser versus 38 out of this GL1200, I'm okay with an unseen zip tie Wink
