85 Asp. front dive
Any body got words of wisdom on fixing the front end diving like a sub when you put on the brakes? Instructions? Pictures? Volunteers?(will furinsh beer!!!!) :lol:

A couple of things come to mind, you need to adjust the anti-dive valve on the forks (both MUST be the same). The other thing that comes to mind is putting fresh oil in the forks. Unless you've dont it you just don't know how old that stuff is.

After that it might be time to rebuild the forks.

Your going to get some dive when using the front brake, if it seems excessive , it could be your not using enough air, weak springs or the viscosity of the oil is too low.

If you havnt checked the oil in the forks for a while, when you change it, dismantle the anti dive units and make sure they are not sludged up, sludge does end up at the bottom.

Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you about my "dive" issue. I did adjust the anti-dive valve from 2 up to 4 and it makes a world of differance. Thanks for the suggestion. 8)

If you need more anti dive you can use a heavier oil in the forks but ride smoothness will suffer somewhat.
