This really pisses me off!
I live about 40 miles north of Denver. It was 70.3° here on Wed 3-25-09, I was getting the aspy ready to take to a dealer to have the fork seals replaced and new brakes. Well that plan has gone to hell! We now have a blizzard warning in my area and are expecting anywhere from 6-15 inches of snow. It's not fair for Mother nature to tease us bike riders like this, it's just not right!
/ Rant off!

Ok, I feel better now, I'm going to get the snow thrower out and help clear out the neighbors when needed.

Wow, up to 15 inches of snow does really suck. I am from Ontario Canada and our weather is warm enough to ride some days but it is still early enough in the season that I have not put my snow blower away yet. I hope your snow clears up so you can get riding soon.

I feel your pain! We just had a blizzard up here in SD. I don't have a snow blower so it took me 3 hours to clear the driveway and entrances to the house. I am sick of this white stuff already. And just like Davek80501, it was near 70 degrees right before the storm hit. I was fortunate enough to get out and ride for two days prior to the blizzard, but I can't wait until it's an every day thing again.

Ouch! That is a nasty swing, Dave. We see it swing quite a bit over here near Green Bay, but that has got to be a record setter! I got my bike out for the first ride of the season today. Fired right up without a problem. Tomorrow I'm off to the dealer to get a set of Elite III's installed. It's 50 today but tomorrow it will back in the 40's and looks like it's going to stay there for the next 10 days. Maybe we'll at least get some rain to clean up the roads more. But there's not a blizzard in the forecast right now. Hope it melts quickly so you can get out on the road.

By the way, in looking for a review on TCLOCKS, I came across this Youtube video doing a demonstration using a 1984 Interstate.

I haven't even got excited yet. Here in Grand Rapids Minnesota, the snow has just started to give way to grass. The roads just rec'd a bath from Mother Nature but, now the temp is only 22 degrees. No positive temp rise in the near future :-( Very rare to ride in March but, April always gives us an opportunity.

Grand Rapids is due west of Duluth MN about 85 miles. As a crow flies about 150 miles south of International Falls.

Friday it is calling for sunny, 12 Celsius/53.6 Fahrenheit so I should be able to go for a ride but the weekend it is going back down to freezing. I have never seen a spring go all over the place like this.

I've been riding AT LEAST 150 miles a day EVERY DAY since June 2005. Mother Nature has been nice to me here in Texas. Big Grin :-bd

What's the difference between an Texas cheerleader and a catfish?

Well it has been one of the worst droughts on record but we did get some rain the last two days and I got to check out the rain suit and see how well the new E-3 tires were in the rain.....both worked fine Big Grin
