Progressive ? or not?
I changed my fork oil the other day. When I removed the fork springs I thought they looked like progressives.
They are tighter wound at one end.
Check the pics and let me know what you think.

My '85's stock springs looked like that, two part and all.

The Progressives are longer one piece springs. I put them in in about '96-'97.

My 1500 has early style two part Progressives, but they are one inner, one outer, NOT stacked like these.

I think what you have is stock, and that is good as now you have a reason to look forwards to Progressives. I did the whole deal, 416 rear shocks and air line adapter kit too.

The Progressives are one piece springs, those look like the two piece OEM springs to me too.

I didnt realize the progressives were one piece.
When I saw the springs wound tighter at the end I thought I may have hit it lucky. Oh well.
