Where to get parts
Hey all. New wing owner here. I need to replace the fork seals and thought I might as well put progressives in. What are a few good websites to order what I need?

Also, I want to polish the lowers. Any advice on how to go about that? I've never done it before. Thanks in advance

Venco wings http://www.vencowings.com/ are very good people to deal with.

As for polishing the lowers, paint remover to remove any clear coat that is remaining, follow directions. finally wiping off the clear coat that has bubbled up.

Then you require a few weeks at the gym to tone up your muscles Smile Smile

I used brasso, fine rubbing compound and the polishing pads you can find at the local hardware store. There is also a product called Never Dull it also can be OK

There is a compound called Mother Billet or something like that it comes in a small very expensive can. I have heard that this is the cats whiskers for polishing aluminum, never tried it.... too cheap.

Once you are a finished a spray and polish with Lemon Pledge can help to keep the shine.
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.
