shocks and forks
any one know how much air to put in them ?

sorry to dig up an old thread

was wondering the same thing
im a big guy 6'4" 300lbs 34"inseam
and my wife rides with me
what should i set my rear shocks at
and i have a 84 1200 interstate so no compresser i removed the right side cover and the valve is right there i don't see an air fitting for the front
i have a haynes Manuel still waiting on the clymer i ordered.

The fork valve on my 84 Standard is on the upper R fork tube. there is a crossover tube to balance the fork pressure.
I run 6lbs, but ride solo at just under 200lbs.

so far i havent had an issue with front dive but i will still check it today
as for the rear shocks i'll add min pressure and work from there
