Radio FM gone

1984 Fact. Radio. if i press the radio for FM all I get is static, the AM works fine. not sure if its the plug, I have cleaned the plug. Not sure if its the Radio. thinking about putting in a Regular modern radio, but dont want a radio just setting in a hole, and looking like Sh#t.. I have not been able to find any type of conversion kit. Any advice? :d

hopefully you can find someone local to swap their radio in and see if theirs works ok in your bike,but you might want to check the antenna connector both inside the left pocket and under the tank to see if they are connected

at worst is a $100 trip to sierra radio to repair the fm section,if the cassette section doesn;t work they can repair it too but sometimes that is extra if its not something small
