Are the rotors on the front of a 1987 aspencade directional? i need to replace the one for the hand brake. And are other years interchangeable.

Thanks,

I bought a used pair for my '87 Aspencade from a local guy Larry Scott and if he didn't point out that I needed a matched pair (left/right) I wouldn't have know any better, so yes I would say they are directional.

They must be 10mm Aspencade or LTD rotors Interstate will not do.

There is a left and right, which would affect cooling of the rotor but whether it would make a great deal of difference I don't know.

Front Right 45120-MG9-000

Front Left 45220-MG9-000

It looks like the grooves should be located so that the outer edge of the groove is forward of the inner groove.
This would effectively direct any heat toward the center of the rotor where the cooling fins are.

Bladerunner let us know if they are on the correct way Smile 50% chance

The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.
