Regular shocks as opposed to air.
Left shock leaking oil. I am wondering if I should get a set of Progressive shocks that do not use air because the bike is some 27 years old and all the air system is old, not just the chocks. Have any of you classic Wingers done this and if so does it make the bike ride rough? Thanks for any help.

I just replaced the rear's with Progressive Air shocks and my OEM compressor system is not working. As a matter of fact, I gutted the parts out. The new Progressive's are connected to a standard schrader valve and I pump them up using a mountain bike pump with gauge. So if you still want the adjust-ability of air shocks, you can still use them. I highly recommend the Progressive Airs, what a nice ride. I did Progressive front springs too.
