Trunk Storage Shelf
while working on another members sei last year,a previous PO had installed a piece of lexan in the rear trunk that was absolutely perfect for keeping those normally used small items handy and quickly accessed, took me about an hour or so to cut two out of an old windshield i had sitting around, always gotta recycle right?
its about four inches wide and 24" wide and attaches with a couple 3/4" self tapping scews, screws dont get in way of the rear light bar and keep you from removing it as necessary

I found one like that in one of the bikes I had bought. I think this one was factory made. It is held in place by the screws that hold the trunk light bar. Poorboy

the way i have it mounted it doesn't interfere with taking the lightbar off,its just a simple piece of lexan

Always a nice idea to have some sort of snack on the bike I think. Good for those pit stops when it's hot...like it is right now...

I, too, think you did a great job. Something I was wondering, though. My '87A has something similar in it. I just assumed (you know about that, right?) that it was factory. It is not as thick, and is made of black plastic. Kind of flimsy, but it serves the purpose. Can some of the gurus please enlighten me?

Thanks, and again, GREAT JOB!!! :YMAPPLAUSE: :YMAPPLAUSE: :YMAPPLAUSE:
