Question about Arm rests?
I have Honda 1200 Goldwing Aspencade that my wife got me because she hated riding on 1993 nighthawk.
She want a motorcycle with footboards and armrests.

I have a relotions kit on my bike now.

questions now....

1. IS the arm rests that swing out 90 degrees from the motocycle is the better one or

2. the arm rest the pivits down towards the saddle bags the better one and why.

3. Where to find them at a good price or used.

Thank you in advance.

Dan

Had a set of the ones that swing down on mine for a while, and they worked extremely well. Then one day my wife asked me to remove them, she said she grew tired of falling asleep on our trips. Now they sit all boxed up out in the barn. Go figure…

I had the same set on my 84 and took them off when the insurance company picked up the bike for salvage. Wife told me not to put them on the replacement 85 I have now for the same reason.
They have been sitting in a box also.
I may dig them out, take a few pic.s and list them for sale.
I don't know how much to ask for them.
Does 1/2 price of new seem fair?

Ok, now I am intereseted in the one your arm rest for sale.

3 quesitons for either of you.

1. Will it work on 1984 Aspencade 1200 with a truck relocation kit?
2. What color are they? Black or brown?
3. What is the price (is shipping included).

Please remember I am a College student paying way through college. I average 770 miles per week between work and college.
I do not own a car. My wife does. I am happy with my GW.

Do you have any extra parts for sell?

Thank you for you imput.

Mine came off my 84 Aspy, are black in color and they bolted to the frame under the passenger seat. I'll dig them out and look them over to see what shape they are in. IF they are in nice shape and IF they will fit in a "flat rate" USPS box, I'm thinking $80 Shipped to the lower 48.
They are $160 shipped new.... <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://wingstuff.com/products/1956-passenger-armrest-kits?context=&from_search=1">http://wingstuff.com/products/1956-pass ... m_search=1</a><!-- m -->
