Have the same wing here, less miles, and about as close to a 10 out of 10 as you can get, with poorboy alt set up. Was thinking of asking about what you are, not sure about selling it. Get lots of comments out on the road, it is a classic afterall.
Would like a 1500, just for the power! If that damn money tree would only start giving it up!

I like the idea of fuel injection, so I bypassed the 1500 and went straight to an 1800. I found a great deal on an '08 last fall that I couldn't pass up, even if it means the 1200 LTD has to go. Tis the season to sell. It's ready to ride. All it needs is a new name on the title.

I would probably try to sell it on the Classic site it is more important that the thing is in good shape mechanically - we can make any of them look nice.. to me an external alternator reduces the value.

Both my 1200,s have the original alternator and the external, for visibility lighting one needs the power of the external and in today's driving conditions we need every bit of help we can muster.
I am not really sure whether it reduces or increases the value, it certainly increases the safety factor.
