slow cassette player

My radio works fine, except when I insert a cassette. It plays real slow.
I believe the FF & RW works. Any ideas? Thanks, Kevin. |

Probably the belt is slipping inside. I've not had one apart so I'm not much help but one thing you might want to consider is an MP3 player with an FM modulator tuned so it will play over your radio. That's the set-up I use!!

You might want to check out this link to Steve Saunders's site.
It gives tech instructions to replace the belt. Hope this helps. http://www.goldwingfacts.com/forums/forum1/29595.html |
